Sprint will begin offering customers access to McAfee mobile security applications today, available under the Sprint tab in the Android Market, or by clicking on McAfee in the Sprint Zone. McAfee Mobile Security ($30/year after a seven-day trial) will locate your lost phone, remotely wipe data, backup contacts and other data, and protect against malware. The McAfee Family Protection Android Edition ($20/year after a seven day trial) will filter mature websites and features “uninstall protection”, which will prevent kids from accidentally removing apps from your device.
