Verizon’s HTC Droid DNA may have already been released (and reviewed), but mystery still surrounds the possibility of an international version of the phone. Earlier leaks have referred to it as the “DLX” or “Deluxe,” though it’s not clear whether this is the marketing name for the device or merely a codename.
The iPhone 5 hasn’t had a break since it was launched in October. While most people have already gotten used to the scuffing and the scratching, the iPhone 5′s touchscreen that uses in-cell screen technology to bond the glass to the touch has been nothing short of perfect. At least, it was perfect until Recombu reported that U.K.-based game developers CMA Megacorp discovered a glitch where the iPhone 5′s touchscreen stops accepting input and sometimes even freezes up after being swiped diagonally at quick speeds. Most iPhone 5 users won’t even notice the glitch, but games that require tons of swiping from different directions and angles such as Fruit Ninja might see some issues.

Announced along with their full holiday line up in New York not long ago, AT&T will be making the Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro available to those looking for a rough and rugged device come October 21st. Motorola’s victory over Microsoft (MSFT) in one patent case last week appears to have been decidedly short-lived. ZDNet reports that a barrage of patent suits have forced Motorola to pull all of its tablets and all but three of its smartphones from its online German store. As of this week, the only devices that German customers can buy from Motorola are the Motorola RAZR i, the Motorola RAZR HD, and the Motorola Gleam+. It’s not known at this point if Motorola will keep so many of its devices off its German market for a prolonged period of time, although the company’s actions do raise questions over whether its patents are really as strong as Google (GOOG) believed when it purchased the company for $12.4 billion.

Google (GOOG) has been at the center of a number of antitrust investigations over the past year in Europe and the United States, among other places. It has been alleged that the Mountain View-based company is unfairly referring traffic to its own services and violating fair competition rules. Earlier this year, a Brazilian shopping comparison website claimed that Google manipulated its search results to promote its own Google Shopper comparison tool over the competition. A Brazilian court was not persuaded by any of the plaintiff’s arguments, however, rejecting every one of them and noting that Google is not a monopoly, Search Enginge Land reported.
